About the role

We are seeking a Paid Social Strategist & Activation Specialist to join our Ascend Makers division—an AI-powered SaaS platform that enables retailers to plan, automate, and optimize omnichannel advertising campaigns, driving growth and maximizing marketing ROI.

In this role, you will act as both a strategic and operational driver of paid social campaigns across Growth Markets. You will be responsible for managing high-budget campaigns with precision, transforming data into actionable insights, and ensuring flawless execution aligned with business objectives for leading brands.


Key responsibilities

  • End-to-end campaign activation & setup
    Execute campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager, ensuring strict adherence to naming conventions, UTM tracking, campaign structures, and pixel/conversion API configurations.
  • Real-time optimization
    Monitor and optimize key KPIs (CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPL) on a daily basis, adjusting bids, budgets, creatives, and audience strategies to ensure efficient and consistent delivery.
  • Quality assurance (QA)
    Audit and validate campaign setups to ensure accuracy across creatives, copy, links, and targeting, maintaining the highest execution standards.
  • Benchmark management
    Develop and maintain performance benchmarks by category and brand to identify optimization opportunities and drive competitive advantage.
  • Reporting & analysis
    Produce detailed performance reports, extracting both technical and strategic insights that deliver real value to clients.
  • Technical expertise & innovation
    Stay up to date with platform updates, algorithms, new formats, and measurement solutions to continuously improve performance and advise both internal teams and clients.

What we’re looking for

  • Education
    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience
    2–4 years of experience in media agencies or high-performance environments, managing medium to large advertising budgets.
  • Platform expertise
    Advanced, hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite and TikTok Ads Manager. Experience with additional platforms (Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat) is a plus.
  • Certifications
    Meta Blueprint (Media Buying/Planning) and TikTok Academy certifications are highly valued.
  • Analytical skills
    Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas) and experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI.
  • Industry tools
    Familiarity with planning and market research tools (Kantar TGI, Galileo, EGM, Semrush, Similarweb) and feed management tools (Channable, Feedonomics).
  • Languages
    Intermediate English (B1/B2), with the ability to read technical documentation and participate in calls.
